Re: Translation?

Hi Jerome (sorry about the missing accents),

Do you have a page number for your reference, and can translate a little more of it, perhaps a paragraph or so?

As Warren mentioned, I have written about Salivet a couple times, including here:

http://blackdogswoodshop.blogspot.com/2016/03/the-double-iron-part-1.html

However, I have not seen a reference to a specific measurement before. I don't speak French, but page 349 is here:

https://books.google.com/books?id=Ksk9AAAAcAAJ&pg=PA349&lpg=PA349&dq=salivet+au+rabot+de+bout+ou+au+rabot+a+deux+fers&source=bl&ots=VkgFr8MQ0-&sig=byOW17ug5E-GcC3J5rDFjGz62lk&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CCAQ6AEwAGoVChMIzYOz36-ayQIViDY-Ch2b-AXs#v=onepage&q=salivet%20au%20rabot%20de%20bout%20ou%20au%20rabot%20a%20deux%20fers&f=false

And that is the page quoted in my blog above, taken from an informal translation that appeared years ago here on WC.

There is also page 368 here:
https://books.google.com/books?id=Ksk9AAAAcAAJ&pg=PA368&lpg=PA368&dq=salivet+l%27acajou+dur+eft+de+deux+fortes&source=bl&ots=VkgFr8MPV-&sig=nIzROB-vXfsYtwn7YuZdNMCJj54&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CB4Q6AEwAGoVChMIrJizjq-ayQIVAXY-Ch3z-wBR#v=onepage&q=salivet%20l'acajou%20dur%20eft%20de%20deux%20fortes&f=false

But I'm not finding the reference to a "quarter of a ligne." Additional help would be much appreciated.
