Thanks, Monty. That's just the sort of information I was looking for. It brought back memories :( :( of my misadventure in filling a syringe with compound. His method, as he points out, is very expensive for making a single use mold. I'll need to think about that one for a while. I need to make sure I come up with something ingenious (like Wright's carbonite :D ) and not really, really stupid. Speaking of stupid, I once tried to make a beeswax applicator from an old stick deodorant container, but it was totally unsuccessful, because I couldn't figure out how to get the wax to release, and I stripped the threads on the extension screw.
