This would seemingly be the wrestling equivalent of a squash match (uni vs. poplar). :)

(squash match = one where a really strong contender throws around a little guy and the match ends quickly - a way to show how strong a certain wrestler or wrestlers are to give them credibility before facing bigger opponents).

We cut a lot of rounds when I was a kid (about 10 cords a year). I'd like to have some of that wood back to split or saw quartered stock out of. Our stove took 30" logs, and we cut it at 24 - much walnut, cherry and white oak was wasted. quartered cherry probably wouldn't look right as drawer sides but when it's hit right for the rays to show, it's super vivid.
