1.2 microns or so, very aggressive combination of binder and abrasive, and fairly hard on the edge. fast for its fineness, but slower in use than the washita, probably 20 seconds to remove uni-lite. light colored stone that makes spectacular diluted black slurry, but the color makes it look like more is going on than is actually going on.

Note compared to other stones just how strong and uninterrupted the abrasive grooves are on the iron.

These are known for being hard on the edges of razors and not a good shaving stone (but they can be used with a really light touch). Look at an edge that's actually in the ball park of 30-35 degrees total, you can imagine they'd be hard on an edge twice as acute.
