I really like the Sigma 2000 for this. It’s a very noticeable jump from the Sigma 1000 or Shapton 1000, and I experience no problems going from Sigma 2000 to Sigma 13000.

The Sigma 1000 + Sigma 2000 was originally recommended to me by So Yamashita as a front end ahead of finer natural stones. It works well in my experience.
