That's wonderful, Bill! I, too, am interested in hearing more about the Minwax acrylic finish.

My son-in-law has a lot of dead and dying ash on his family farm in Kentucky. He's gotten interested in milling it and brought me a couple of nice 6/4 pieces last week. I'm going to send him your photos and this thread she he can see what a master can do with wormy ash.
