So here’s the question then...

If I were to combine match planing with a spring joint achieved through the method David Charlesworth uses in his planing video*, will that create a sound joint over the 4’ of the long boards? I’d be using a #7. I have used that combination on shorter boards with pretty good results**.

* Rozaieski video iirc shows a similar technique of stop passes with the plane as Charlesworth shows in his technique.
