1. buffing where the wheel is forcing the tool away from wheel seems fool proof. Am I missing something?

2. I put a foot switch on my drill press after the bit hung in something and created a propeller.

3. Grinders have a lot of stored energy in the spinning wheel capable of being transferred to somewhere else. The buffing wheel is so light it has essentially no stored rotational energy.
