The files that I have are Oregon brand, marked swiss made and probably made by vallorbe. They're very soft compared to the wood file, which is a Nicholson. I could be wrong about the teeth on the Nicholson, too. They may be intended for brass or aluminum.

Won't know about the teeth until the next tile we have storm damage but they don't look that ragged. I'd guess the round files cost the same for 3 as the chainsaw files cost by the dozen.

The Oregon files that I'm using get 5 stars on Amazon. Maybe I'm just too lazy this time.
