I really like the Journal of Woodworking Research! This is great stuff. Is that why professionals read journals in their fields??

I'm curious for some more details on loading the diamonds on a given substrate. I know it's been mentioned before but Bill, you recently said at the beginning you used much more than was needed.

What is a good amount? How does one go about spreading evenly on a given substrate? Does it differ for coarse vs fine grits?
