Pictures are great, but you never have to ‘prove’ anything to me.

I was asking, because I always check for convexity anywhere, or twist. before lapping, because I’m not able to reliably lap convexity away, and certainly not twist. But you answered this concern by already having planed your billet square and true to begin with.
