I've used my two sans burr and they seem to cut even faster and deeper (and refreshing the hard blade on a keen kutter scraper kind of like yours that's just a copy of one of the starretts is easily done on a CBN wheel).

....but faster and equates to a less than ideal surface. With a burr, I got the sense that the floor could be finished right away. Without one and with aggression, the surface fuzz and surface tearing can be intense.
