This is hilarious () Warren in Lancaster, PA
I have been stropping my tools on leather for 55 years. Woodworkers have been doing this for millennia. Why? Because it improves performance. We have dilettantes who suggest that this is poor practice because it "dubs the edge". What they are lacking is the ability to discern actual performance.
If this experience can be replicated by others it will be as significant as the rediscovery of the close set cap iron.
