Weaver grind—how is convexity added? () David Gli
Many years ago I took an intro course with Marc Adams. His method for sharpening plane blades and chisels involved using a Workshop for the primary bevel and a fairly firm (cotton?) buffing wheel with just a smidge of green stuff on it to hone. It was super fast and as I recall yielded a great edge. I never used a buffer since then, so details escape me. Perhaps someone who has done one of his courses more recently can chime in.
