You can clearly see the differences . The angle of the edge on the lighter adze is too straight for how I use it. To get it to cut well I need to tip my wrist and this causes pain. The edge is also more blunt. It is a chopping tool as it is. The Lonon adze edge is more like a carving gouge. It can slice rather than chop. Also the angle of the edge is friendlier to my wrist.
