Jack Guzman from Maine
I just got back from the post office an hour ago. I took the adze into the shop and tried it out on a small bench seat I had partially hollowed previously. The tool is heavier than my other adze that I bought from a british maker. The flat makes a huge difference as does the extra weight. The other adze left a rougher surface and wore out my arm quickly. This one is easier on my forearm muscles. With a little care I can achieve a smoother surface that needs less work with the scorp. The real test will be hollowing a new seat from scratch but I can already tell that this is the adze I was looking for. Nice job Jason.
