Don Peters
I have both, and I've used them both for years. My standard for the past fifty years has been the Record low angle block planes (#60?). They're significantly improved by substituting Veritas V11 irons. They're a bit more comfortable in my hand than the DX60, which is larger and heavier with a shallower, smoother top to the cap iron. However that cap iron requires me to grip it harder to keep from slipping off it. But the Noris adjuster is nice, and as always, Veritas' fit and finish are superb. I think you need both, and they'll both get roached if you drop them
