Derek - I purchased the DX60 and today I hollow-ground and sharpened the blade. I find I can apply more pressure and more consistent downward pressure with my right hand as I push with the left (leftie for writing and planing, rightie for hammering). The knob is easy on the ball of my thumb. No pain at all after planing many scraps. Very pleased.
