Some wisdom I heard (probably at least third hand) from an old geezer who sawed the stuff, "If you tie it down it'll do fine; otherwise, it'll get up and walk away on you". I think I mentioned this a few weeks ago in another sycamore discussion thread. That coincides with another observation someone here made on problems with drying it, specifically that the bottom half of a stickered stack had dried straight, but the top half had contorted. I think the lesson here might be to weight it down with two or three times your usual weight (or tie it down) while you are air drying it.
