In your picture, is your drawer stop just laying there for the illustration, or have you already glued it in place in that skewed orientation? The times I have done them that way, I always tried to get the front face of the stop parallel to the back of the drawer front. I would be concerned if they were skewed, that in use the front corner would be crushed or it would put a ding in the back of the drawer front, causing the drawer to close too far. The more it was used, the worse it would get.
