clogging up dust in the end of the saw slows it to a stop. I shall try what you suggested. I just finished dovetailing another leg and in the course realized this limitation. I hate picking up a tool and not finishing what I picked it up for but in this case- saw, chisel, saw, chisel- may turn out to be the winner.
