That’s how we learn. In fact, that’s how you want to fit the side pieces once the front and back are glued on. Make the side molding just a few thousandths long off the saw, then shoot the miter and test fit, one shaving at a time, til it fits. The test fitting will tell you the angle adjustment for the next shaving, which is gotten by shimming the shooting board. On the final shaving, it’s perfect!
