Help me!! (mouldings on solid cabinets)David Weaver
This is an area i know nothing about.
In the past, when I've installed mouldings on solid wood casings (which is only three times), I've glued the front of the moulding and pinned the back.
This is not going to be a high end cabinet. It's going to be stained, but I don't want seasonal gaps in the miters at the edges of the mouldings.
Does anyone have any tips (too late for quartersawn wood, and the lack of quartersawn wood for the sides would negate that).

These mouldings should be situated so that nobody will ever get a solid grip on anything but the front of the cabinet (kids).
