I’ve been keeping an eye on Jim’s site for one of the better-known modern makers, but these have not surfaced. There are a few smaller, curved, vintage bowl adzes on the site, but I am not interested in one of those as I have no idea how suited they are to chairs, plus the heads look rough, with the bevel in the inside (which I do not want). Still, I go back there every now-and-then.
