Get chair and spray can warm. Go outside and spray. Move chair inside. Done.

I spray conversion varnish outside (for flammability) all winter, not that we have had much this year. Flash the solvent and move indoors. The heat capacity of the wood will flash the solvent readily.

I remain surprised that people object to a whiff of wood finishing solvent. Used to be houses were varnished and painted with solvent based paint. Smelled for days I expect. And then there is filling the gas tank.
