"...Imagine using Pencil Precision as a tool to boost the self-esteem for those young folks who are finding a hard way life. We know first-hand of such stories from users of our Chopstick Master."
"...Imagine making a special pencil for your teenager who is about to take his/her SAT test.
...Imagine making pencils on your kitchen counter while your young grandchild watches in amazement and helps you pick the correct color ferrules.
...Imagine writing a poem to your loved one which includes the very pencil used to create the poem."
(imagine making them for the cost of materials without spending any money. When I got on this pencil kick, I did look around and there's some guy making a jig with kickstarter funding. It's not the kind of thing I want to do - part of the joy of making the pencils is controlling what's going on, but the guy did a good job and he's made leads available pretty cheap compared to anything else

His jig requires the use of a block plane and a specialty router bit to cut the groove, and not surprisingly, most of the sample pencils have tearout, which we don't want. It makes the making accessible to someone who doesn't use a lot of hand tools, though. )
Making the six sided pencils is difficult. I could make a video at this point, but I'd like to wait until I've figured out how to make the 6-sided making a little bit easier for someone who hasn't done as much hand tool woodworking.
