I need help identifying this hammer *PIC* *PIC* () John in NM
I usually have heard them called either riveting hammers or locksmith's hammers.
Most of my hammers needed new handles, I've made a couple for these kind of hammers out of beech. Use is light enough to not need hickory for these. Yours looks like a beech handle too.
