I remember getting very mild poison ivy as a kid, just little bumps on my hands.
I did (mild) when I was very young, but it - for lack of a better term - just went away after around age 10 and I haven't gotten it since.
I understand that it's like anything else and you can get sensitized to it, but there's little of it around here, so if I do get sensitized, I guess it'll have to be a surprise with the cashew lacquer!! (no clue what's actually in the cashew lacquer, but maybe the pleasant smell is urushiol).
