I use it to rebuild the soles on my slippers

Well technically I use it for a lot of things, including making anti-slip pads on clamps and other similar uses.. but it doesn't last forever[1] so when there's a bit that I'm afraid its going to go off I build up a worn pair of slipper soles a bit.

[1] It does however last longer if you push a piece of saran wrap onto it to seal it up well.
