Cool, I'm looking forward to trying it.
The problem for me with the formax is that I'm supplying irons for other people, and the scratches it leaves are pretty unsightly. I fully hear you when you say that these scratches don't affect performance, but I don't want to send ugly shit to my customers. That's not an issue for most people, but it's perhaps a reminder for those who need it that there are all sorts of ancillary issues besides ultimate sharpness: there's speed, repeatability, simplicity, ease of procuring the media, cost, and even appearance in some cases.
