About twenty years ago, I melted some beeswax into an empty (and cleaned out) stick deodorant container - the kind that you turn a knob to raise the product out of the tube (Arrid, I think).

I've been using that for screw lube ever since. It's nearly time for a refill, but I've been amazed at how long the original has lasted.
