Unless you are sawing very thin stock the blade should be 6 TPI, or 3 or less for thick cuts. 6TPI is a good general purpose blade except for resawing.
Feedback on teeth can be found in the kerf. If the kerf is full of sawdust after a cut it means the gullets are full and not carrying it away- too few TPI.
