Of course, the ultra cheap could get a chinese wheel, and the wheel surface itself is probably just as good, but they have arbor sizes that would necessitate a very accurate bushing.

For the extra $50, I'd get the wheel from vince - I found him as forthright as you. Actually, he had a wheel on ebay with damage at the back edge of the radius. It was something like $125, and the radius wheel he has now was the price it is now. I somehow missed the end of the auction due to inattention and he sent me a message through ebay to buy the wheel through his page and he'd refund me the difference. There was no reason he needed to offer that, but he did.

(eyeballing ebay again, there are econo 6" wheels now for $51, but still with a large center arbor that would only suit someone with a lathe and the desire to make a bushing. Actually, even that wouldn't be difficult for me to do with corian offcuts chucked in a wood lathe, but i'm not sorry I bought a wheel from vince).
