Really enjoy looking at the photos of doings in Australia. I take it’s a mild winter there, based on peoples’ dress. Involving the kids is great, too! Keeps them away from the scourge of mobiles.

The judging seems to be as most years, i.e., dependent on the taste of the judges. Maybe you should have worked in Blum hinges or drawer slides on yours. That said, the quality of the offerings was great. One thing I could not figure out was how the 1st prize managed to get the same figuration on each and every piece of wood in the marquetry, though they appeared to be three different species.
