3v meets suita I received two things in the mail yesterday. First, the 3v iron that Wiley sent me, and second, a white suita from Japan. The first is a high class item, and the second is high class only in use. I have gotten really good at spotting primo fast cutting stones from pickers and this one cost the princely sum of $52 plus $25 shipping through a proxy service.
It cuts the 3v well. This is the type of stone that makes a good judge of hardness because it will cut even something like this, but it will run out of steam and cut slowly by the mid 60s, even on plain white steels.
I wanted to see if it would remove the spider webbing on the back that is probably due to some stray diamond particles or contaminants.
