I'm interested too and follow these threads with great interest from those that have wanted the road ahead of me. I don't expect to not have to walk the road myself or to have the same exact experience as others but I greatly appreciate the sharing of experience and learn a lot.

I agree that the enthusiasm from 10-15 yrs ago is dying down and am sad to see the closing of many truly great (not all of them are) small business tool makers. I for one am very grateful for these forums since I learn a lot more than scrolling through some Instagram feed, which seems to be where most have gone.
