Just out of curiosity, I dropped a Milwaukee 1/2” ‘Holeshooter’ drill into my LV twin-screw vise:

Amazingly, the drill has parallel surfaces on handle and body (it doesn’t look like it). It dropped it perfectly solid. A blank could be jigged to run straight into the drill. Could make a heading from each end if blank square and true.

Just a thought. John’s rifle got me looking up Sako, though they’re very different.
