None I've ever made can support that kind of wood price! Nothing like a stock blank to make wood pricey :D I think I've paid maybe $200 for a blank, but for a full size one I can usually get 2 sets of the ones I sell.... Though I have paid a lot for maple burl slabs, but I can usually get 3-4 sets out of those.

Its a lot of fun though :D

Do you still want a Sandvik chisel? That was years ago, but I finally duplicated most of my sizes, so I could spare you one. What size would be good?
