Wiley, you have such good taste. Those planes both have great style.

I have some irons that date back to the early 1800s, and I don't know what the steel is that they have in them (english or whatever it may be), but it's exceedingly fine.

Never thought about a smiths hammer for mortises, but it does seem very directed.
