Wiley, I sent you an email picture of the moulding because I could not post it. There is boxing for a quirk, so that point on the iron is to be sunk into the surface, and beyond the quirk is a stop to limit the depth of the moulding. The stop comes to rest on the face of the board. The cove portion should be at the very edge of the board.

The board should be fastened flat on the bench to make this moulding.
