In the second photo you can see the spring line—there is a horizontal meeting line also, but not sure you can make that out.

The third photo adds some scale. The total width of profile is a bit over 1”, say, 1-1/16”. It’s pretty deep too. Which makes me think that the work might be pre-rebated with other planes before applying this one. If you did the roughing and final profile with this plane, you’d have to move a lot of wood, and have to sharpen before the final passes. How did they do it in the old days? Or even now?
