I was at a MWTCA tool meet last weekend and purchased a draw knife that was missing both handles. I want to practice making handles for it and also learn how to use a draw knife.

Question 1: I think I remember a post or an article from the last couple of years that had a really good and detailed write-up on making handles for a tanged draw knife. I tried searching for it, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone recall this or have the link? I thought it was by Derek and looked at his site, but I couldn't find it there either.

Question 2: I was trimming my apple trees today and cut off a couple of large limbs. Can these be turned into handles while green and dry on the draw knife without issue or do I need to rough them out and then let them dry for a period of time before mounting?
