I just heard from a friend that Mr. Sundqvist passed away. He was one of the main figures to help popularize Swedish carving techniques on this side of the Atlantic. Before reading an article about him in FWW I did not know of the spoons and other articles that have since become popular carving projects. He also made many friends through Country Workshops.
