I wanted one as well, however the 18 month waiting list was daunting. Claire has a video on building your own, so I went down that route. It is a decent video, but some of the finer points were overlooked (likely because they are so obvious to a seasoned veteran). Also, the video is about version #1, with a wooden mouth/toe, and this has been superseded by a brass mouth/toe. The construction is slightly different. Both Claire and Pete Galbert (whose design this is) were very helpful in providing the missing bits of information. I ended up building two travishers, with different radii.

Claire's work and Pete's design is sublime.
