Sandpaper Flattening & Shaptons () david weaver
It's possible that the binder or how the paper is put together may make for different results.
I tried it only once, but had strange accumulations of sticky spots on my stone, and i'm not sure what it was (but stu told me I'd find them). The spots felt similar to what you get if you use the stone for really abrasive resistant HSS (you may know what I mean, I know you've tested a lot of stones). The stones get little spots of stuff all over them.
I'm not sure of the brand of paper that I used or what type, but #220 grit and I remember the word "shark" or something on it.
