Well, I haven't kept up with all of them, but thinking more of the USMC ka bar and the mil spec (sp1) older designs (like the 498).

I went out and looked up the knife you mentioned - I think i'd rather have a ka bar USMC, but in reality don't have a use for a long fixed blade knife and don't have any of them.
