Wiley, the only single-bevel folder I have came from Japan Woodworker in Alameda, and is a very good knife. Don't know where, or if, it is available now.
The best pocket knife I know of is the Case Seahorse whittler. Its main blade is a heavy section Wharncliffe, and it has thin, flexible pen and coping blades too. I'm with David about the Wharcliffe blade...
