I don't know about the furniture bit, but there is a huge maker community out there and they are extremely creative and most I see are very young. So, I think creativity is alive and well. Different tools and tastes? Perhaps, but creative none the less!

I don't buy into the labels anyhow. Not sure what I am supposed to be! Depends on who you ask! ha!
