Subject:
high end chisel recomendations?

Joseph Piotrowski
it must be how i layout the dovetails but i'm finding myself in need a 3/8 inch chisel, which i don't have. i like my narex chisels but i would like to buy chisel with better manufacturing. i am so tired of spending my limited shop time flatting the back of tools. the last narex i purchased tool me 2 hours to flatten and even then it has as hollow spot way to close to the cutting edge. and no i don' t want a courser stone than i already have. i'd like a tool from a manufacturer that grinds there chisel flat. hollow ground like a Japanese chisel if fine if they are good enough to get flat in 10 mins.

the primary use for this tool is chopping dovetails. i'm open to big or small handcrafted manufactures.

if anything my sharpening skills have increased to the level where i can shave the hairs off my knuckles with no problems! manscaping, one chisel at a time :)

TIA
