CNC is really confusing the market. They seem to be able to do things with 5-axis CNC that is going to be harder and harder to distinguish from hand tool work, if they are so inclined.
I read a blog from Joel once where he was explaining how they were making the handles.
And the handles you made certainly weren't created on a regular router table. There is one thing that is almost impossible on a router. The handle of the saw on your miter box shows it clearly, the inside rounding goes from nearly non existent to full round size in one nice swoop. And then all the tight, sharp corners in hard to reach areas. I'm not a router expert at all, but that looks quite impossible.
